It is close enough for a short charter and lively enough to make a day of it. Swim to shore, snorkel the rocks at either end, then climb back on board for lunch.
Recommended: 4 or 6 hours. Pair it with Icacos on a 6-hour charter.

How far is Palomino from Fajardo?
About 15 to 20 minutes by boat.
Is Palomino good for families with kids?
Yes. The water along the beach is calm and shallow on most days, and the crew keeps an eye on young swimmers.
What's the difference between Palomino and Icacos?
Palomino has a beach with palms; Icacos is a shallow sandbar with some of the clearest water in the area. Many guests do both on a 6-hour charter.
What should we bring?
Swimsuit, towel and reef-safe sunscreen. Drinks, snacks, the floating mat and snorkel gear are on board.
